'1983' - 88 patches for Arturia's DX7 V
Arturia's DX7 V, an emulation of Yamaha's DX7 digital synthesiser built in 1983. One of the biggest selling synthesizers of all time and notoriously one of the most difficult to program. Arturia have made the job of programming much easier with a visually accessible interface so that six operators, envelopes and additional parameters with new effects can easily be edited.
Smooth pads, glassy keys, bouncing arps and some of those unusual DX type digital sounds make up a rather eclectic sound bank taking the standard FM synthesis to newly discovered places.
Take a patch and deconstruct, maybe develop it further or just test the Macro keys on various patches. The possibilities are endless with six operators in DX7 V.
